Company history

CCV has been at the forefront of electronic payments ever since its inception in 1958. CCV's first payment terminal in the Netherlands was installed in 1988, and since then transaction processing for petrol and credit card organizations has really taken off. The first loyalty system with complete transaction processing was introduced in 1992.

CCV received an Acquiring Host Processor certificate from Currence in 2007, which allows us to process local debit transactions for banks. In addition to processing credit, petrol, private label, and loyalty card transactions, we are also the market leader for payment terminals in the Netherlands, enabling us to provide our clients with end-to-end solutions.

Over the years, we've grown into an international organization with multiple branches. Cross-border market leadership led to a complete rebranding in early 2009 to achieve a unified appearance so that we're recognized as a single entity throughout Europe.
