Prof. Dr. Malaika Brengman has been teaching at Vrije Universiteit Brussel since 2005, where she is responsible for the subjects Marketing, Strategic Marketing Management, Market Research and Consumer Behaviour. With her research, which mainly focuses on consumer behaviour and retail marketing, she obtained publications in internationally renowned scientific journals such as the 'Journal of Marketing Communications', the 'Journal of Product and Brand Management', 'Advances in Consumer Research', the 'Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services' and the 'Journal of Business Research'.

Sebastian Maus

Sebastian is a partner at Roland Berger for the Financial Service industry and is based in Berlin. With over 15 years in international management consulting, he now leads the company's Payments practice group. Sebastian has in-depth expertise in financial services industry and covers the full value chain of account-, card-based and digital payments. Additionally he specializes in digital banking and artificial intelligence.

Sebastian has published several articles and studies about the Financial Service industry in Europe and South America.

    Yes, participation is free for each individual session.

  • Which programme is used? Can I participate even if I don't have it installed?

    The set-up of each session is organised with Microsoft teams. Even if you have not installed MS Teams, participation is of course still possible! After registration you will receive a link that will automatically take you to the virtual room. There is no need to download a programme!

  • Is there a participation limitation?

    No. As an online event there is an unlimited number of participants. 

  • I cannot participate, but I am interested in the topics. Is there a gleaning?

    Yes, all sessions are recorded and will be available for review on the CCV website.

  • Why is this event only in English?

    As an international company, we want this event not only to reach local audiences, but also to inform people across borders and bring together people interested in payment and commerce of all nationalities. The easiest way to do this is with the English language.

  • Are questions possible during the sessions?

    The sessions are carefully organised as round tables to cover as many topics as possible. Questions can be asked at any time via the team chat function and will be passed on to the round table.
