Prof. Dr. Malaika Brengman has been teaching at Vrije Universiteit Brussel since 2005, where she is responsible for the subjects Marketing, Strategic Marketing Management, Market Research and Consumer Behaviour. With her research, which mainly focuses on consumer behaviour and retail marketing, she obtained publications in internationally renowned scientific journals such as the 'Journal of Marketing Communications', the 'Journal of Product and Brand Management', 'Advances in Consumer Research', the 'Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services' and the 'Journal of Business Research'.

Additionally he specializes in digital banking and artificial intelligence.
