Contactless Parking Payment Systems

That depends on your business model. Contactless payments can easily work alongside a physical ticketing system. The customer receives their ticket upon entry to the car park; then the ticket is later inserted into the payment machine, where the customer can make a contactless transaction. This cuts down on the queues that can form when patrons must search for change to make a payment.

Alternatively, if you install a contactless terminal at the entrance barrier the customer can use their card or smartphone to enter the car park. They would then use the same card or device to exit, at which point the period of parking would be paid for. This eliminates the need for any physical ticket, removing the inconvenience of the lost ticket for the customer and the cost of the tickets themselves for the operator.
