Smartwatch Payment - Terminal A920

Supporting people with visual impairments

At CCV we know that clear, simple solutions make a world of difference for customers with visual impairments. That’s why our Accessibility features are  designed to offer better guidance, readability and ease of use for payment terminals.

What we offer

Our Accessibility features are designed to make payments easier for people with visual impairments. They include:

  • Voice-guided navigation that provides clear, step-by-step instructions throughout the payment process.
  • A high-contrast display with stronger colours to make text and buttons easier to see.

The Accessibility features can be activated in three ways:

1. Double tap anywhere on the screen to start text-to-speech support

2. Text-to-speech also starts after a short time of inactivity during the payment process

3. Tap the eye-icon

See Accessibility mode in action:

For you as a partner or an integrator we’ve prepared a short demonstration video to show how our Accessibility features work in practice. The video highlights key functions such as Blind Mode and Colour-Blind Mode, using both audio and visual support to guide the user through the payment process.

Please note: to keep the demo video concise, the voice guidance plays slightly faster than on the actual terminal.

I didn’t need help from anyone for the first time. The terminal guided me clearly. It’s so empowering.
