At the beginning of July, the football club KAA Gent launched its own app for all Buffalo supporters. Not only does it allow them to keep up to date with all the club’s latest news in real time, but they can also use the app to top up their cashless card thanks to the integration of the Bancontact “One-Click-Pay” functionality in CCV’s online payment service. A first in Belgium.
A must-have for every Buffalo

As a Buffalo, you can use the app to buy match tickets, take part in polls, watch goal and match footage almost instantly and easily scan your ticket or season ticket via the integrated wallet function.

New: One-Click-Pay functionality
What makes the app so special? Football club supporters are recurring customers. Thanks to the activation of Bancontact One-Click-Pay, all they have to do is add Bancontact to the app once and then validate the payment. As of their second purchase, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is no longer necessary, so customers can pay with Bancontact with a single tap. Redirecting to the bank to confirm payments is a thing of the past. This innovation significantly increases the convenience of payment, as the Bancontact card details are kept in the supporter’s virtual wallet.
